The best way to apply is directly through our website by clicking the apply now button. Alternatively, you may apply for any of our adverts on the various online job sites that we use. Please make sure your CV is up to date and that you complete the application as thoroughly as you can. Our team will help you with any questions you have throughout the process but the more information you can provide, the better. You should highlight any experience you have that is relevant to working in events. Once you have applied to work with us, this will be reviewed by your local management team typically within 72 hours.



If your application is successful, you will have a first stage interview, which is typically via telephone. We recruit the right people with the right attitude, and this is your first chance to demonstrate this verbally at least. We will ask you questions about the following as a minimum: Education, Experience, Motivation and Availability. It’s nothing to be worried about but remember to give as much information as possible to the interviewer and show your enthusiasm that you have for working with us. After your interview you will be able to see the notes the interviewer has made on you on your application and you have the opportunity to add extra helpful information to this.



If you are successful in your first stage interview, you will then be invited to attend a group assessment session at your local Arc office. Some roles will require a one on one interview and induction instead e.g. chefs. The group assessment lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the role you’ve applied for and the location. The session will include compliance, assessment, induction and training elements. Again, its nothing to be anxious about but it’s probably your first meeting in person with us so smiles, positive attitudes and participation is what we’re looking for! Be sure to read your confirmation messages carefully so that you don’t forget to bring/wear the correct items.



Compulsory training with Arc takes place during your assessment session and we also encourage further training once you have started work with us. Further training happens on site with our clients and in our training rooms. Compulsory training will focus on essential aspects on food and drinks service. This is perfect for newcomers to the industry but also an opportunity for the experienced applicants to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Further training opportunities include top tier hospitality, team leader, supervisor, barista and betting.
