How long have you worked for the company:
I started working for Arc in May 2017 as an Account Manager in our Head Office in Liverpool. I Joined the team with around 6 years of hospitality and customer service experience ranging from hotel, bar and restaurant work right through to working for a holiday company in both Austria and Italy. After an extremely successful Christmas 2017 for the whole of Arc, I was asked to assist setting up our full time office in Birmingham and continuing to run our Nottingham office as the Midlands Area manager beginning in February 2018. We have since opened an office in Leicester and continue to grow and expand in the area.
What do you love about the company:
There’s not much I don’t love! Every single day is completely different and brings its own unique challenges – which is really exciting for me. Highlights for me have to be meeting all of our clients and workers, building strong relationships and working together. Getting to go to some of the most prestige and renowned venues and events across the whole UK isn’t so bad either…
I also love the support I receive from everyone in the company. All of the senior management team cannot do enough to help support, develop and grow us as individuals – they want to see us succeed which is so refreshing. The whole team are just a pleasure to work alongside.
An interesting fact about yourself:
I have worked 4 seasons abroad as a holiday advisor and supervisor in Austria and Italy – two of these seasons were ski season and I had NEVER skied before going. I can now snowboard (ish)
I am half Italian, but cannot speak a word of it which is terrible…
